What it's like to come to my Home Studio & Yard

Why would you go to someone’s house to get your photos captured?

Saturday, I had a family come into my home studio and backyard setup and just like what you could imagine, it wasn't easy to wrangle outfits, coordinate schedules, and get the littles out the door.

Thankfully, they just had to come to my house. Where there is plenty of snacks, drinks, extra diapers, playtime, and we aren't on a strict schedule.

As for the photoshoot itself, we created so much in such a short amount of time between a newborn session, fall family photos in the yard, as well as wintery cuteness with the modern tree backdrop.

Their almost 2-year-old LOVED all of our toys- we played on the tree swing (such cute candids of dad pushing her), and explored the leaves and pumpkins in back. Once she got inside, we had fun cozying up with the studio and she didn't even feel like she was on-set. It felt like home and play!

As for the adorable 9-day old baby, she broke my record as the youngest photo subject to date (except my own kids, of course, capturing their photos just hours after birth).

What was your favorite photo above from their session?

This is the perfect time to capture your photo session for the holiday season, with enough time to order gifts and holiday cards.

Thursday (even warmer!) & Saturday are looking like beautiful weather conditions this weekend! How about scheduling your family photo session in Lemont at my home photo oasis!??
