The Most Freakishly Cute Halloween Wedding

Caroline and Phill are truly an amazing couple who have so much in common. When you look at them, the phrase "best friends" have been redefined. 

I met the couple exactly one year ago at the Lincoln Park Zoo to capture their engagement. With their fall flannel and Halloween masks in hand, I was jumping out of my seat to work with their love for this season. I am so happy that the sun was so bright that day, not only for fun photos but because I let Caroline use my sunglasses for some of the photos. She loved them so much, I shipped her very ownpair from the local Pacific Beach sunglasses hut, "Deziner Eyez" . Love that we could have done that! 

We took a spin on romance with a scary twist, incorporating the theme of classic horror films for their save the date invites, custom made by yours truly. 

It was easy to build a relationship with these two over the 12 months of planning as they were always excited to meet up and discuss their big day with me. We simply "clicked" as our DePaul alumni status and laid back chatter made for some more common ground between Caroline and I. 

The day of the wedding was just as we had planned and imagined for months, as perfect as can be. One of my favorite moments of the whole night was when the couple along with the rest of the guests were clenched onto each other, at the edge of their seats watching the Cubs enter the World Series! As mega fans of the team that they are, it was pure fate that the game would fall on their wedding night. Check out some of these details, these are no fairweather cubs fans in this reception!
